I find it amusing when people argue that not getting visibly angry/upset after a loss means the coach is okay with losing/doesn’t hate losing enough.

Here’s an alternative explanation: The coach isn’t a petulant child, has a degree of self-regulation, strives to conduct himself like a professional, and doesn’t think throwing a tantrum helps his team win.

You can think it’s a poor way to coach, but I doubt it reflects apathy about winning or losing.
